Active 911 is a leading innovator in creating technologies to help first responders save lives by getting to emergencies faster. Using a SaaS-based rapidly iterating subscription service, we provide location and incident details related from Computer Aided Dispatch Systems (CADS), to assist fire, rescue, police, and other first-responder/medical professionals to get to the scene of emergencies faster and with more accurate information on the scope of the incident. About the position

Active 911 is currently seeking a full time Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Support team at an exciting time in our organization’s growth within our emergency alert ecosystem. This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for responding to client inquires and maintaining performance metrics. Position offers defined pay increases as performance measures are met. We are seeking someone who is passionate and committed to leverage their customer service and technical skills to help our clients provide a vital service resulting in faster EMS response and ultimately saving lives. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Build relationships with clients
  • Onboard new clients
  • Support existing users
  • Understand and meet customer needs
  • Write Parsers
  • Proficient with Wiz and other internal tools
  • Write basic database queries
  • Perform basic coding and diagnostic testing
  • Ability to handle most issues and escalate appropriately


Your should apply for this position if you are/have:

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Able to stay calm and pleasant at all times
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Typing speed of 35 wpm at minimum
  • Strong computer skills
  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience
  • Technical background a plus
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
