Quality Assurance Analyst​

Salary Range:  $55,000 - $68,000

 

Mission:  Support QA Department in validating quality of application software

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Execute test runs as prescribed by the QA Engineer

  • Write or enhance test cases and test plans as software changes require

  • Write or enhance automated test scripts as needed

  • Identify application defects and create defect tickets for the Engineering Team that are easy to understand

  • Interface with business stakeholders as needed when requirements are ambiguous

  • Interface with software developers as needed to align on issues

  • Have a constant focus on improving the quality of our software applications

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a software testing role

  • Understanding of, and ability to perform, repetitive manual test runs

  • Experience with software development or a strong desire to learn

  • Experience with TestRail or other software testing applications

  • Experience with Jira or other software ticketing systems

  • Experience with web and mobile application testing

  • Ability to investigate, understand, and document complex software application issues

  • Ability to communicate technically with software developers

  • Familiar with agile methodology

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Technical Service Representative

Salary:  $13-18 per hour

About the Position:

Active 911 is currently seeking a full time Technical Service Representative to join our Customer Support team at an exciting time in our organization’s growth within our emergency alert ecosystem. This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for responding to client inquires and maintaining performance metrics.  Position offers defined pay increases as performance measures are met.  We are seeking someone who is passionate and committed to leverage their customer service and technical skills to help our clients provide a vital service resulting in faster EMS response and ultimately saving lives.

 

Job Expectations:

  • Build relationships with clients

  • Onboard new clients

  • Support existing users

  • Understand and meet customer needs

  • Write Parsers

  • Proficient with Wiz and other internal tools

  • Perform basic coding and diagnostic testing

  • Ability to handle most issues and escalate appropriately

 

About You

  • Able to consistently stay calm and pleasant

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Typing speed of 35 wpm at minimum

  • Strong computer skills

  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree is a plus
